Each year the California Coastal Comission sponsors Coastal Clean-up Day, a call for all residents to help clean-up the estimated 850,000 pounds of garbage from the coast's beaches, waterways and lakes. I led a team to take on the task of creating posters to attract volunteers. We developed the "Let's Make Trash Extinct" campaign. Executions covered posters, t-shirts and social media. The campaign worked. Over 50,000 volunteers turned up to take part in the annual event.
